The latest REFINE consortium meeting took place from May 19th – 21st 2021 with all REFINE partners represented and providing updates on their work within the project.
As the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic remain, the consortium came together in a digital meeting across all three days. The goal of REFINE is to contribute to the supply of sufficient and attractive financing sources to energy efficiency investments in Europe.
Almost one year into the project, the meeting hosted partner updates and presentations on REFINE’s individual work packages (WPs). Within this, discussions were had surrounding major project milestones and the next steps for driving the project forward. As a result, the partners will continue with high-level Stakeholder Workshops in the coming months, as the project enters its next phase of development.
In addition to the consortium meeting, a meeting of the project’s Advisory Board took place on May 20th where members, with expertise in refinancing and energy efficiency from across Europe, were updated on the project and provided feedback on future developments around guarantee instruments and standardised contract stipulations to be developed by the REFINE project.
